This is our tragically injured little princess, Kaylianne, and this site is dedicated to her story. Please be aware that we are soliciting prayers, energy healing and monetary donations to help our little girl, who is currently fighting for her life, due to a birth gone horribly wrong. If this is offensive to you, you should leave now. For daily updates on her progress, please visit our blog. |

Our story begins ten months ago when I and my life partner, David, found out we were impossibly expecting a baby. I truly should not have been able to become pregnant, and yet I did. Kayli is our little miracle baby. (You can read more about this on Mom's Story). The entire pregnancy was normal. I did not have any condition that could have caused my precious baby to be harmed in anyway, and certainly nothing that could have caused asphyxia. I chose a trained midwife of over 20 years for my caretaker, as I believe birth is a natural event that only requires medical interventions when there is a real problem. She is also a doctor, so I felt I was choosing the best of both worlds. I had regular prenatal care, including the tons of bloodwork and expected ultrasound. Kayli's 24 week ultrasound showed she was developing normally and right on target for my October 26th due date. Oct. 26th came and went, and I can't say I hadn't expected this, as I went post-term with both of my boys. Still, David, Grandma and I were all a bit anxious, as our midwife had suggested I would go early. |
