My story begins over 26 years ago when I first decided I wanted to have a baby.  Now, most little girls do want to eventually have a baby, but I didn't want one eventually... I wanted one right away.  And so I began wishing for a baby on falling stars, in wishing wells and on the wishbone in chicken (I suddenly developed the desire to eat chicken A LOT).  Soon, I began having visions and dreams about a joyful little girl full of laughter and love.  I would always see her running, skipping or dancing, and she was always laughing and playful.  I was soon enchanted with this honey-haired ray of sunshine and could not wait to fall asleep so I could be with her.

After a couple of weeks, I decided to tell my mom that I was going to have a beautiful baby girl.  You can imagine how well she initially took that information!  When I told her of the dreams and visions, she calmed down and told me I was probably just remembering my earliest childhood somehow.  Undaunted, I began recording my dreams and asking her about people, places and things I saw in them.  I even asked about clothing, as nothing I saw seemed like something she would have dressed me in (she had AWFUL taste lol).  This is when she started to believe me (which, of course, led to all new problems!).  She didn't recognize any of the people I saw, nor did she recognize the places or the clothing.  Some of the places, like one that looked like a lush, green meadow were too indistinct to tell, but most were very different than anywhere we'd been.

In almost every dream and vision, I saw her as if I were looking through my own eyes, so there was no way for me to tell what I looked like... I guess that was to prevent me from becoming depressed at how long I'd have to wait.  I saw her as a toddler, maybe age 2-3, rather small and completely perfect in every way... always completely full of love for me.  A particular favorite of mine was of my little girl running through this meadow, golden hair streaming behind her along with some kind of long ribbon or streamer she was playing with.  She would run and then circle back, smile or laugh at me and then run some more.  It seemed she didn't want to get too far away from me...
